Questions
REST or GraphQL?
It depends on who consumes the API. REST is simpler to cache and to open to third parties; GraphQL suits products with many screens that need different slices of the same data. We recommend one after the review.
Can you integrate with the tools we already use?
Yes: payments, CRMs, email and identity providers, and most services with a documented API. We add retries and logging so failures are visible and recoverable.
Can you improve a backend without rewriting it?
Usually, yes. We profile first, fix the bottlenecks that matter and only replace the parts where a rewrite is clearly cheaper.
Where will it be hosted?
On the cloud provider you prefer. We package services in containers, so they run the same on AWS, Google Cloud or a plain virtual server.
