Grainverse is an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac by SIUX Studio LLC. It has no servers and no accounts, and it doesn’t connect to anything of ours. This page says exactly what it keeps, and where.
What stays on your device
Your discoveries (the reactions you have found), your best time in each scene and your settings. Grainverse saves them on your device so they are there next time.
The worlds you build aren’t saved: each scene starts fresh.
What we collect
Nothing. Grainverse makes no network requests of its own, so nothing about you or what you do in it reaches SIUX or anyone else.
There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Purchases
Grainverse Complete is bought through the App Store, which Apple runs. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account; Apple only tells the app whether it has been bought.
Permissions
Motion, while “Tilt to steer gravity” is on: the app reads how the device is held to point gravity that way, live, and never stores it.
Screen recording, only if you turn on clips. Apple’s ReplayKit asks first and keeps the last fifteen seconds of the app’s screen on the device; a clip is saved only when you tap Clip, and shared only if you choose to share it.
It doesn’t ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it saved. Clips you shared stay wherever you sent them.
Children
Grainverse collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes and contact
If what Grainverse reads, stores or sends ever changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated. Questions: hello@siux.co.
