Toss privacy policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
Toss is an iPhone app by SIUX Studio LLC. It makes no network requests of its own: your photos, and everything Toss learns about them, stay on your iPhone. This page says exactly what that is.
Your photo library
Toss asks iOS for access to your photo library so it can show you your photos and videos, measure how much space they take and delete the ones you choose. You can give it full or limited access, and change that at any time in Settings.
To find duplicates and near-duplicates, Toss compares photos with Apple’s Vision framework, on your iPhone. No photo, thumbnail, description or count leaves your device.
Nothing is deleted until you empty the bin and confirm it in the iOS dialog. Deleted items go to Photos’ Recently Deleted, where Photos keeps them for 30 days. If you use iCloud Photos, a deletion applies to all your devices, as it does in the Photos app.
What stays on your iPhone
Which photos you’ve kept, which are in the bin and how much space you’ve freed are saved in the app’s own storage on your iPhone, as identifiers of the photos, never the photos themselves.
There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Toss doesn’t send anything to SIUX or to anyone else.
Purchases
Toss Unlimited is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether you own it; we never see your name, email or card. Apple’s privacy policy applies to the purchase.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything Toss saved. The photos it deleted for you can be recovered from Recently Deleted in Photos for 30 days.
Children
Toss collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
