Primordia privacy policy

Primordia is an app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV by SIUX Studio LLC. It has no servers and no accounts, and it never connects to the internet. This page says exactly what it keeps, and where.
What stays on your device
Your sea: every creature and its genes, the species and their history, the chronicle, the family you adopted and the creatures you favoured. Primordia saves them on your device so the sea is waiting where you left it.
Your field notes (the moments you have witnessed and when) and your settings: the light, the population limit, whether the sea lives on while you’re away, notifications and sound.
The widget shows a small portrait of your sea. The app shares it with its own widget on the same device, and with nothing else.
Nothing is synced between devices: each iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV keeps its own sea.
What we collect
Nothing. Primordia makes no network requests, so nothing about you or your sea reaches SIUX or anyone else.
There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Permissions
Notifications, only if you turn them on in Settings. Primordia then schedules, on your device, a reminder for full moon nights and one if your adopted family is down to its last few.
Adding to your photo library, only when you save a picture from photo mode. Primordia never reads your library.
It doesn’t ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone. Twelve-second recordings capture the app’s own picture and sound, not the microphone.
Deleting your data
Beginning a new sea from the census removes the old one. Deleting the app removes everything it saved; pictures you saved stay in your library until you delete them.
Children
Primordia collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes and contact
If what Primordia reads, stores or sends ever changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated. Questions: hello@siux.co.
