Claude Code, with tiny friends.
Gochis live beside your Mac’s Dock. Every Claude Code session brings one that shows what Claude is doing and lets you answer it from wherever you are. Between tasks, they have a life of their own.
$9.99 Launch price for the first 100 orders, then $29.

How it starts
Once, the first time you open it.
- Mochi
1
Name the egg
Open Gochis and a speckled egg appears beside your Dock. It wobbles while you type its name.
Connect Claude Code?
Adds Gochi’s hooks to your settings. A copy is saved first.
Not nowConnect2
Connect Claude Code, if you like
It tells you what connecting changes and asks once. Nothing is installed until you say yes, and your settings are copied first.

3
It hatches
The egg cracks, splits open and your gochi pops out, celebrating. It’s yours from now on.

Open claude
Start Claude Code in any terminal and an egg drops beside the Dock: that session’s gochi, ready to work.
And they stay out of your way. Gochis pause when the screen is off, locked or covered by a full-screen app, and draw fewer frames on battery. They live beside the Dock, where windows don’t go.
Your Claude Code crew
Every Claude Code session brings a gochi of its own, and the same project always brings the same friend. Claude’s work stops hiding in a terminal tab.

Say yes without switching apps
When Claude asks for permission and you are elsewhere, its gochi jumps and shows who wants what, and why. Answer Yes or No right there, or send it back to the terminal. If you are already looking at that terminal, Gochis stay out of the way.

Subagents are its little ones
When Claude starts a subagent, a little gochi pops out of its parent and trots behind it in a row, working with its own tools while the parent waits. When the subagent is done, the little one says goodbye with a heart.

It grows with the context
A session’s gochi starts small and quick, and gets big, round and slow as its context fills up. Run /compact and it works out, with jumping jacks and squats, until it shrinks back with a little spin. After 40 minutes of nonstop work, it yawns and stretches between tools.

Peek, then jump to the tab
Hover a session’s gochi to see its project, what it is doing, how much context it has used and Claude’s last words. Click it to open that exact conversation in Terminal or iTerm. Hover your own gochi for every session at once, grouped by what needs you, and, on Pro and Max plans, how much of your 5-hour and weekly limits you have used.
On the job, too
- Confetti and a dance on every git commit, fireworks at night
- A high five when two sessions finish together
- Each session’s Terminal or iTerm tab tinted in its gochi’s colour
- A soft sound when Claude is done or needs you, not when you’re already looking at that session
- Up to four session gochis at once, those waiting on you first
What Claude Code alone doesn’t show you
A life of their own
Leave them be and they keep busy. What each one does depends on its personality, the time of day and who’s around.

Mate in the morning
Between 7 and 11 the calm ones sip mate with their eyes closed. When one finishes, it passes the gourd to whoever is next to it.

A little tune
One strums a ukulele and the friend beside it starts dancing, each in its own style: classic, moonwalk, disco or twist.

Naps together
Two sleepy ones lean on each other until one wakes up. Asleep, they dream in a little cloud: yours of food, Claude’s of code.

Sunsets and wishes
At golden hour the calm ones sit down to watch the sunset. At night they look at the stars, and make a wish when one shoots by.
And on a quiet afternoon

A kite on a good day

A tiny book

Juggling
The shy ones drop the balls.

Bubblegum
Until it pops in its face.
And also
- Tag between two playful ones, until the chase ends in giggles
- Climbing your windows, then floating back down under a leaf
- Playing dead, then peeking to see if you bought it
- Sniffing a flower and sneezing
- Blowing soap bubbles
- Hiccups
- Chasing their own tail until they’re dizzy
- Balancing on two legs
- Pouncing on butterflies, and missing
- Chatting in turns
- Yawns that spread to whoever is next
- A hug when you drop one beside another
One of a kind, and yours
A gochi isn’t a skin. It hatches unlike any other, remembers how you treat it and grows up over months.
No two alike
Yours hatches from an egg while you name it. Its seed sets its shade, its shape, its eyes and a personality of five traits: the shy one startles at your cursor, the curious one comes to check it out. Claude’s gochis go further: most are born with a quirk, like a cyclops eye, eyes on stalks, little wings, a curly tail, jelly or rainbow skin, and about one in 33 comes out gold. Two sessions in the same project are siblings.

Pet it
Rub the cursor across it and it closes its eyes, purrs and blushes. Overdo it and it giggles and runs off.

Pick it up
Drag it and it dangles, kicking its feet. Drop it next to a friend and they hug. Drop it from high up and it gets dizzy.

It remembers
Drop it hard twice and it keeps its distance for a while. Treat it well and even a shy one comes closer, and now and then brings you a flower.

Snacks by hand
Drop a rice ball, an apple, a cookie or a strawberry, and drag it to whoever looks hungry. It chews with its eyes closed.
It needs you, a little
Food, energy and joy run down in real time, even with the app closed. Look after yours and it’s bright and blushing. Forget it for a day and it turns grey, hungry and sad, until you come back.

Happy

Forgotten for a day
Hungry

Food
A full tummy lasts about eight hours. Drop a snack and drag it over, or leave it on the grass and it goes to get it.
Energy
About fourteen hours awake. When things go quiet it naps, and sleeping fills it back up.
Joy
Fades in about six hours without play. Pet it, click it, or throw it the ball.
It grows up with you
The longer it’s with you, the more it shows.

Day one
Hatches
Its egg wobbles, cracks and opens while you give it a name.

2 weeks
A sprout
A little twig springs from its head: it’s been with you a while.

2 months
A flower
The twig blooms into a tiny pink flower.

6 months
A golden crown
A little gold crown, for the ones who stayed.
Their little world
They live in a strip of grass with its own weather, light and calendar.

Day and night
Golden light at sunset, moonlight at night, a striped nightcap at bedtime, and a little lantern for the curious ones still up.

Rain, then a rainbow
Now and then a shower comes through. They hide under a leaf, and a rainbow follows. In winter, it snows.

Say cheese
Start a screenshot and they all turn to the camera, wink and throw a peace sign.
Their calendar
They know what day it is, and dress for it.

All October
Witch hats and pumpkins that glow at night, little pumpkins in the grass and bats after dark.

The end of December
Santa hats from the 15th, and fireworks for everyone at midnight on New Year’s.

Every month
A party hat and confetti on the day yours hatched.
And all around them
- Butterflies that land on whoever stands still, and fireflies at night
- Once in a long while, a flying saucer
- Grass that parts as they walk by and sways in the wind
- A tiny babbling voice, made on the fly, that you can mute
- A jump of surprise when an app opens in the Dock
Tiny friends, not trackers
No calls home
Gochis make no network requests. No account, no analytics.
Asks before touching Claude Code
It explains what connecting does and installs its hooks only if you say yes, keeping a copy of your settings first.
Nothing leaves your Mac
Session updates carry a file name, a host or Claude’s own summary of a command. Claude’s last words are read on your Mac, only when you open a card.

Questions
The app
Which Macs do Gochis run on?
Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later. They live on the screen with the Dock, or on the one you pick in Settings.
Do I need Claude Code?
No. Your gochi lives, eats, sleeps and plays on its own. Session gochis appear only if you use Claude Code and connect it, which the app asks about once.
Will they get in my way?
They live beside the Dock, where windows don’t go, and hide in full-screen apps. Grass, butterflies, the ball, window walks and session gochis can each be turned off.
Which languages does it speak?
English and Spanish. It follows your Mac’s language.
Buying
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and the license is yours, with lifetime updates included.
How do licenses work?
Each license covers one Mac, and every feature comes with it. Launch prices hold for the first 100 orders.
What if it isn’t for me?
Email us within 14 days of buying and we refund you in full. No questions asked.
Claude Code
What does connecting change?
The app adds its own hooks to your Claude Code settings, leaves everything else alone and saves a copy of the file first. You can disconnect from its menu at any time.
Which terminals does it work with?
Clicking a session’s gochi selects the exact tab in Terminal and iTerm, and tints it. From other apps, like editors or Ghostty, it brings the app forward.
Can it approve something by accident?
Its buttons wake up half a second after the card appears, so a click meant for the gochi approves nothing. After 30 seconds, the normal prompt takes over.
